Jose Carlos Orellana-Palacios awarded the Best Poster Prize at the I International FoodTec Conference
José Carlos Orellana Palacios won the Best Poster Presentation Award at the I International FoodTec Conference in Bragança, Portugal.
His work, “Continuous Subcritical Water Treatment to Fractionate Apple Pomace,” showcases cutting-edge research on valorizing food industry by-products.
José Carlos Orellana Palacios acknowledged the Spanish Research Agency (AEI) for funding this work and extended his gratitude to his supervisor Mario Martínez Martínez, as well as to his collaborators Juan García Serna and Danilo Cantero, for their unconditional support during the fractionation experiments.
