InnograinLab present in Tianjin and Beijing

From September 15–21, Mario M. Martinez and Laura Román Rivas were invited to take part in academic and social activities at the School of Biotechnology and Food Science, Tianjin University of Commerce. José Bonilla, Assistant Professor from the University of Copenhaguen also participated in the academic exchange.

During this visit, Mario and Laura were appointed as members of the Academic Committee of the Tianjin International Joint Research and Development Center and Engineering for a period of five years. The event was kindly hosted by Assist. Prof. Wenqiang BAI and Prof. Jianfu Liu, Dean of the School of Biotechnology and Food Science.

Mario, Laura and Jose also participated in an academic exchange with Prof. Hongzhi Liu’s team at Beijing Technology and Business University, where fruitful discussions on edible plant macromolecules and food structure led to promising research ideas.
