InnograinLab researchers join the Institute of Sustainable Processes (ISP-UVa), a leading institute in the development of technologies for a more sustainable industry.

Founded in 2018, ISP-UVa has grown to include more than 150 researchers and has become a reference center for innovation in environmental protection and sustainable development.

InnograinLab contributes strategic expertise in food science, with a focus on circularity, sustainable food production systems, and the improvement of food quality and nutrition. Supported by state-of-the-art research infrastructure across several campuses of the Universidad de Valladolid, ISP-UVa-together with InnograinLab researchers-is well positioned to strengthen its leadership in food science and food engineering research.

This integration will further reinforce their capacity to attract European and international funding, promote international collaborations, and generate science with high scientific, social, and economic impact, with results transferable to strategic sectors such as agri-food, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
